In Australia the Action Pistol (formerly International 1920) Match comprises four courses of fire shot at the National Rifle Association (NRA) of America’s Action Pistol Bianchi Cup. NRA Action Pistol match comprises sixteen different recognised courses of fire.
Black Powder is not really just one match but a series of matches. They differ from all other matches in that the pistols used be they revolver or single shot, retain ignition systems which were used before the invention of (in the 1860’s) of the self contained metallic cartridge.
